
A brief history of our club, the Red River Valley Woodcarvers.
On October 14, 1973, an open house was held at a local home to see if there was enough interest to form a wood carving club. 10 people attended the meeting. The next meeting drew 20 participants, at which time officers were elected and a club constitution was rough drafted They also set annual dues at $3.00 and decided to name the club the Red River Valley Woodcarvers.
